Howard Springs Pine Forests
Sunday, 12 March 2017
The Howard Springs Pine Forest is a fantastic location and offers so many new features to find compared to our other orienteering sites. Come and try one of our newest maps.

Mostly shady cypress pine plantation forest with very little long grass - very pleasant to walk through for this time of year. Some mixed forest with patches of soft spear grass 1-2m high. Abundant beautiful late wet season water features - some parts of the last year''s dry season course have been drowned! Easy course is mostly on winding tracks. Long course participants be prepared to get wet feet (unavoidable). No hills. Map has been recently fully redrawn with many new single tracks. A generally pretty and pleasant place to wander around for your Sunday morning.
