Coaching & orienteering weekend
Basecamp Wallaroo (next to Goanna Park)

Come along to a lovely dry season weekend of orienteering out at Basecamp Wallaroo (next to Goanna Park).

Saturday: Coaching courses (short courses focusing on skill development such as compass bearings, legend interpretation (especially rock features), attack points, night orienteering, etc.). Coaching courses will be held on Saturday afternoon 3pm to 6pm, $3/member $5/non-member

Sunday: Regular orienteering event on Sunday morning with Easy, Moderate, short hard and long hard courses available. Start between 7:30am and 9:30am, finish by 11:30am (regular event fees)

Overnight camping is also available for TEO members ($10/adult and $5/child). If you would like to camp out and are not a TEO member, you can join on the day.

Directions
Travel on the Arnhem highway to Corroboree tavern. Drive further until you see rocky hills ahead. Look for a bicycle on a pole on the left side of the highway. Turn left off the highway onto private property and follow the orienteering signs. Look out for wallabies as you drive in!
