This is a bush event with line courses. Visit all checkpoints shown on the map, in the order specified.

Bush Orienteering at Casuarina Beach. Expect a mix of woodland, monsoon vine thicket, mangrove fringes and beach coastal strip. Some areas have good visibility and runnability while others are denser. There may be long grass, however there are also some vehicle tracks and mountain bike single tracks.

Choose from four courses, catering for a range of abilities and experience. All welcome. OY event fees apply. Checkpoints will be hanging orange and white flags with a manual punch device attached, Participants will carry a punch card to demonstrate checkpoint visitation. The MapRun app will be used for Start/Finish timing

Compass. Hat, sun protection and clothing comfortable for exercising in the heat/bush. Sturdy footwear & long pants are recommended to protect from bities and sctratchies. Water bottle with water, and snacks for longer courses. Charged mobile phone for using the MapRun app for timing. Money/card for entry, drinks.
Coaching
Coaching is available between 7:00 am and 8:00 am
Afterwards
Relax/recover and compare notes on your route. Cold drinks available for purchase from the esky. Cold water and fruit free of charge.
Directions
The start is in Carpark 5B, Royal Darwin Hospital Campus. Drive into the main entrance, head north until reaching Burnett Rd, and then turn west (left) to reach the NW corner of the hospital campus, near the helipad.
