Territory Wildlife Park

Please register through Eventor before attending and ensure the MapRun app is operating on your phone (one phone needed per group). The app is used for timing and to record checkpoint visitation.

Explore the Wildlife Park with a map, on foot, before opening hours! Navigate around tracks, clearings and features of the Park to find checkpoints and collect a score.
SCORE event - 60 minutes. 3 grades of difficulty - Easy, Moderate, Hard. Visit controls of your own choosing, checkpoints have 3 different values (5, 10, 20 points). Choose your own route to accrue as many points as possible. But be careful! Points penalties apply for every minute or part thereof that you go over 60 minutes.
Penalties are:
5 points per minute on the Easy course
10 points per minute on the Moderate course
20 points per minute on the Hard course
MapRun used for Start, Finish and all controls (no flags or lockable control plates).
Territory Wildlife has provided the park grounds for our event. Please respect the park - do not cross any fences, do not enter any animal enclosures, do not go into any Out of Bounds areas.

Payment
There is an additional Parks entry fee for the event (approx $5) per participant
Time
Start between 7:30 am and 8:00 am
Finish by 9:00 am
BYO
Hat, sun protection, water bottle with water and clothes comfortable for exercising in the bush. Suggest long trousers for Hard course.
Coaching
Coaching is available between 7:30 am and 8:00 am
Afterwards
Visit the park cafe, and/or stay for the day to see the exhibits (pay Park entry separately to orienteering fees)
Directions
Follow signs to the Territory Wildlife Park, park in the main carpark. Enter the Visitor Centre for Registration. The start will be adjacent to the Visitor's centre.
