Spur gully terrain, with very apparent contour features.
Long grass - Recommend long pants.
Water provided on courses - recommend you take your own water bottle.
Plenty of wallabies and great views on all courses!
Phone signal exists in high areas.
Courses are line courses, where checkpoints are to be visited in a set order.
At this event there is sporadic phone coverage and we are using punch cards and manual timing to record times, but still bring your charged mobile phone with the MapRun app if you want to record your route. Compasses available for hire.

Easy , follows tracks and well defined linear contour features, with some taped sections
Moderate, km, controls on contour features with route choice, some contour knowledge essential.
Short hard , Long hard . Technical navigation, good knowledge of compass and contour forms essential.

Directions
From Batchelor: Drive towards Litchfield National Park. Slow down at the park entry, follow orienteering signs, turning off the bitumen road onto dirt track.
