Come and enjoy the lush, green, luxuriant vegetation in the Botanic Gardens whilst exercising your mind and body! Orienteering is about navigating using a map to find a series of checkpoints, often in a set order. All ages welcome. Three courses are offered: Easy (pram friendly), Moderate, Long Moderate. Participate in a group or alone. Dogs welcome on a leash. Experienced orienteers are available to help you get started.
Note: Compasses not needed for this event. Longer courses visit areas outside of the gardens, with some road crossings. There are no physical checkpoints in the terrain for this event and no manual punchcards issued - all timing and recording will be done via the MapRun app.
