Lake Alex & East Point
This event uses MapRun and physical checkpoints
Please register through Eventor before attending and ensure the MapRun app is operating on your phone (one phone needed per group). The app is used for timing. Courses also have flagged checkpoints with punches, and participants will need to carry a punchcard to record checkpoint visitation.

Explore East Point Reserve with a map! Navigate around, tracks, clearings and features of the reserve to find checkpoints and collect a score. The course is time limited to 90 minutes. Please, NO DOGS - they are not permitted at East Point reserve.
Four grades of courses are offered:
Easy
Moderate
Short Hard
Long Hard
Use your 90 minutes to visit checkpoints, visiting as many as possible. But be careful! If you are late back you will lose points.
Penalties are:
1 point per minute on the Easy course
2 points per minute on the Moderate course and Short Hard course
3 points per minute on the Long Hard course
The MapRun app will be used for timing.

Coaching is available between 7:30 am and 8:00 am
Afterwards
Join us for our Annual General Meeting. Pull up a chair or picnic rug and listen in to learn about the goings on of your local orienteering club - what the club has been up to over the last 12 months, what our priorities are and where we are headed into this season and beyond.

Follow East Point Rd into the reserve, drive past Lake Alexander and look for orienteering signs.
